Call for papers
The conference will cover topics including, but not limited to:
- new methods for reliable causal inference,
- High-frequency identification,
- Identification based on higher moments,
- inference for counterfactual policies,
- estimation of structural parameters in policy evaluation,
- machine learning-based approaches to causal estimation.
Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the organizers, subject to a cap. Please note that this support is available only to academic researchers; participants affiliated with central banks or other policy institutions are not eligible.
Submission & Selection
The organizers welcome submissions of completed papers on theoretical and empirical aspects of the question. Applications on monetary policy using euro area data are particularly encouraged.
The keynote speaker will be Regis Barnichon (San Francisco Fed and CEPR)
The deadline for submissions is 31 December 2025.
