Banque de France and Sciences Po are organizing an international workshop entitled Recent Developments in Exchange Rate Economics to be held in the conference hall of Banque de France in Paris June 29, 2015.

The goal of the workshop is to create a forum for discussion on exchange rates starting from both theoretical and empirical contributions. Six leading researchers on the topic will present papers investigating exchange rates in relation to a broad set of economic characteristics, i.e. net exports and current account, commodity prices, income distributions and trade.

Invited speakers are George Alessandria (Rochester University), Natalie Chen (University of Warwick), Menzie Chinn (University of Wisconsin), Javier Cravino (University of Michigan), Robert Kollmann (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and Juan Pablo Nicolini (Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis).

Registration is free but the number of places is limited so we ask you to register (and commit to come) by sending an email to 1404-semsi_conference-ut@banque-france.fr
