IT audit at the Bank of Central African States (BEAC)

As part of bilateral measures between the Banque de France and the BEAC, focused this year on cybersecurity auditing, they conducted workshops with representatives from IT auditing and information systems management. During some fifteen workshops, they addressed various topics related to cybersecurity, IT change and incident management, risk management for IT projects and applications, and their audit. They also met with senior Bank officials (Director General of Internal Control, Deputy Directors of Information Systems, Director of Payment Systems, Director of Training). The discussions were fruitful and gave rise to many questions.

A BEAC delegation will visit Paris at the end of the year as part of these bilateral measures.
