Company ratings, a common benchmark

The Banque de France’s rating provides an independent view of your company's financial position and its ability to repay its debts. It serves as a common benchmark for you, as a company director or sole trader, and for your lenders.

Tools tailored to your needs

  • OPALE, a free financial assessment tool to measure and compare your company's performance and evaluate the impact of your projects
  • Indicators and reference studies on companies (economic environment, rates, statistics, etc.)
  • A range of educational resources available on the Questions d'Entrepreneur website to help you understand economic, budgetary and financial issues

Correspondents at your service throughout France

  • For VSEs, SMEs and ISEs, a correspondent in each département to assist you at every stage of your company's life
  • For start-ups, a correspondent in each French tech capital to help you navigate the innovative ecosystem and find funding

Solutions in the event of difficulties

  • If your bank denies your company an overdraft or refuses to grant you a loan, you can refer the matter to the credit mediator
  • If you want to find out whether your company is subject to a banking ban, you can consult the Fichier Central des Chèques (FCC – Central Cheque Register)
  • If you are unable to open a business bank account, you can exercise your right to an account
