Registration is now open for the inaugural conference of the Economic Data Science Society (EDSS), to be held at the Banque de France conference center on July 9–10, 2026.
Over two days, the conference will bring together a unique mix of cutting-edge technology companies, leading academic researchers, and key national and international institutions in economics. Participants will also benefit from extensive networking opportunities with a diverse audience of practitioners and highly skilled students poised to shape the next generation of the field.

Participants will also have the opportunity to strengthen their practical skills on these techniques through hands-on sessions led by both academic experts and industry professionals. In addition, dedicated demonstrations will introduce EDSS-developed tools designed to streamline and enhance day-to-day economic research.

PARIS “AI for Science, Business & Society” and former AI advisor to Minister Clara Chappaz) Erik Balodis (Bank of Canada) and Thomas Renault (Paris-Saclay) will join Isaiah Hull for a roundtable discussion on the theme: “How will new technologies reshape economic research?”
