The activity of investment funds / Reference database for certified funds

To provide a consolidated overview of certified funds in France, the Banque de France has set up a system to collect all inflows to certified collective investment funds in France, with the support of the French Treasury and contributions from the organisations representing the labels (CIES, Finansol, Greenfin, SRI and Relance labels).

At the end of each quarter, the representative bodies submit the list of funds that have been awarded their label to the Banque de France. The Banque de France consolidates this data and exchanges information with the organisations representing the labels in order to improve the database while duly complying with data confidentiality requirements. It also adds certain information to the reference database from its internal databases, including fund identification it receives from the AMF and a quarterly listing published by the ECB, of collective investment funds registered in ESCB Member States, in particular by identifying segments of certified products that may have been omitted.

In terms of the data provided by the organisations representing the labels, only data concerning the identification of the fund and the label are published, ie, the name of the label, the name of the certified funds, the ISIN codes of certified fund segments and, where applicable, the AMF code and the LEI.

The resulting reference database is available here.
