Business bankruptcies

The Banque de France collects information on court rulings from the registries of commercial courts, from regional courts with jurisdiction in commercial matters and from the courts of the French overseas departments and territories. Bankruptcy is defined as the opening of collective proceedings giving rise to the filing of a declaration of cessation of payment. This therefore includes receiverships and liquidations.
