Monthly review for commercial paper and medium-term note market - November 2024

The total amount outstanding on the NEU CP and NEU MTN market stood at €343.2bn in November 2024 (down by €1.6bn year-on-year). This fall is attributable to the NEU MTN segment (-€3bn), while at the same time the NEU CP segment remained slightly up (+€1.4bn over one year).
In November 2024, NEU CP issuance fell, particularly in the financial sector, including ABCP issuers (€81.3bn compared with €97.6bn the previous month) and the corporate sector (€20bn compared with €27bn in October 2024).
In terms of issuance conditions, November saw a decrease in issue yields across all maturities for all categories of issuer.
