As part of a cooperation program between the ESCB and 12 African central banks funded by the European Union (EU), the Banque de France (BdF) hosted a delegation from the Banque des États de l’Afrique Centrale (BEAC) for a study visit on financial stability from 16 to 18 June 2026.
The BEAC’s delegation has been hosted in the BdF headquarters in Paris. The BEAC delegation exchanged with experts from our Financial Stability Directorate and from the Research and Risk Analysis Directorate of the Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR). The experts of the ACPR and the BdF presented the French financial stability framework. These discussions proved to be very useful for the delegation members and for the planned improvements within the BEAC, in coordination with the Banking Commission of the Central African States (COBAC).
