The Banque de France hosts the Central Bank of Egypt from 4th to 6th February

From February 4 to 6, the Banque de France had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) as part of an EU-funded pilot project aimed at enhancing macroeconomic and financial stability in Africa.
Organized by the International Banking and Finance Institute (IBFI), this visit brought together four representatives from the CBE who engaged in discussions with experts from the Banque de France - the Directorate General for Statistics, Studies, and International Relations, and the Directorate General for Financial Stability and Operations – on the topic of the implementation of monetary policy based on inflation targeting.
This initiative contributes to strengthening central banks’ expertise in their core functions and fostering international cooperation.
