Research, economists and researchers
Academic research plays an increasingly important role at central banks. At the Banque de France, this is reflected in the existence of an active research group that publishes studies on implemented policies and on economic and financial dynamics. The group helps to define economic policies for the Banque de France and Eurosystem’s monetary policy and financial stability mandate. In doing so, it contributes to the wellbeing of French and European citizens.
