Characteristics
Given that the Banque de France does not make any analysis of foreign companies, no specific rating is awarded for them. In consequence, module 37 is only available for resident companies.
Module 37 "Rating and explanation" gives a step by step analysis of the company rating or manager indicator and provides an explanation which led to the turnover indicator and credit rating or manager indicator.
The Banque de France rating consists of two elements :
- The turnover indicator concerns the level of activity of the company.
- The credit rating gives an overview of the financial situation, the profitability, the quality of legal representatives, financial links and subsidiary companies, the impact of trade bill payment incidents and of legal procedures...
More information can be provided, such as the company's identification code influencing the rating and the company's head of group, the absence or delay of communication of accounts, the "transparency" of the company with creditors...
The manager indicator is an objective overview on an executive and on the companies which they manage. This indicator is expressed by one of the following numbers: 000, 060.
- For individual entrepreneurs :
An entrepreneur is registered both, under the identification code as their personal company(ies), and under his "clé Banque de France".
If you search Fiben using the clé Banque de France, you will obtain information on the oldest company registered for this individual.
If you make an enquiry with an identification code, the information will concern the personal company (registered under this identification code).
