Study visit of the Bank of GHANA on Financial stability

Published on 21st of April 2026

As part of a cooperation program between the ESCB and 12 African central banks funded by the European Union (EU), the Banque de France (BdF) hosted a delegation from the Bank of Ghana (BoG) for a study visit on financial stability from April 14 to 16.

The BoG’s delegation has been hosted in the BdF headquarters in Paris. The BoG delegation exchanged with experts from our Financial Stability Directorate and from the Research and Risk Analysis Directorate of the Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR). The experts of the ACPR and the BdF presented the French financial stability framework. The discussions proved very useful for the members of the delegation and in terms of the improvements envisaged within the BoG.

Also as part of this EU-funded cooperation program, experts from the Banque de France and the ACPR will travel to Accra in the coming months to continue the discussions and assist the BoG in implementing effective tools tailored to their regional context.
