Report on the future of market infrastructures

This Report is the fruit of in-depth reflection carried out by the Banque de France following discussions with market infrastructures and financial players in the Paris marketplace, during the second and third quarters of 2024.
In addition to exploring a vision for the future and identifying areas for improvement to optimize market infrastructures, it also aims to strengthen the efficiency and integration of the Savings and Investment Union, while preserving the resilience of the financial system. It highlights the rapidly changing international and technological context, and emphasizes the need to explore and anticipate solutions that will enable us to meet the challenges of tomorrow, between stability and competitiveness of market infrastructures.
