This seminar will cover the following topics:

• Technical and legal aspects of payment systems and market infrastructures,
• New rules in the oversight of financial markets infrastructures (FMI),
• Focus on some FMI’s actors : central counterparties and trade repositories,
• Large-value payment system, Delivery versus Payment of securities in central bank money (TARGET2 Services)
• Innovation and related supervision
• Case study on crisis management in TARGET2

Roundtables will be organized to foster exchanges of information and sharing of best practices among the participants who will have the opportunity to present the specificities of their national payment systems.

Participants

This seminar is intended for senior management in charge of departments operating or overseeing payment systems. Participants are required to have a sound knowledge of payment systems and organization of market infrastructures.
