Séminaires
25 March 2026 - 10:30

With the increasing digitization of transactions and the development of new technologies, digital currency has been a major issue for many central banks around the world in recent years.

This webinar, held in English and simultaneously translated into French, details what an interbank central bank digital currency (known as "wholesale") could look like: why? how? where do we stand? what are the next steps?

The IBFI series of webinars on central bank digital currency (digital euro—or “retail” component—and “wholesale” component) will continue in 2026. More information on the IBFI events calendar.
