The fragmentation of the global economy is changing the structure and composition of trade between countries. How can these changes impact Europe?
You are a student: Eco Notepad invites you to share your analysis and to be part of the debate.
For the sixth edition of its Eco Notepad competition, the Banque de France is inviting students in France to write a post on the theme of "Fragmentation of the world economy: What implications and what prospects for Europe?”.
The two winning entries will be selected on the basis of the following criteria: rigour and relevance of economic reasoning, quality of writing, clarity and logic of presentation, pedagogy and originality of the post. Writing in French is preferred but submissions in English will be accepted. The two best posts will be published on the Banque de France's website. The best post will be awarded a prize of EUR 3,000 to be divided between its authors. The author(s) of the second winning post will share a prize of EUR 1,500.

The awards ceremony will take place at the “Global Currencies” workshop organized in Banque de France headquarters in Paris, on December 6th.
