Preventing and managing financial crises: issues and challenges in bank recovery and resolution measures

The online seminar "Legal Experts and Financial Crises" organized from February 7 to 9 2022 gathered 80 participants representing 30 central banks. This seminar was led by speakers from by the Banque de France, the ACPR, the European Central Bank, Banca d'Italia, Banco de Portugal and the European Single Resolution Board. The benchmark presents participants' responses on their national arrangements for: recovery plans developed by banks; bank liquidation and resolution; court litigation of resolution decisions; new international and European requirements to strengthen banks' liabilities.
