Emmanuelle Assouan

Secretary général

Emmanuelle Assouan has been Secretary General at the Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) since January 2026. She also chairs the Banque de France Climate Change Centre.

She has previously held several positions relating to financial stability, payments and market infrastructures, the management of the Banque de France’s foreign exchange reserves, monetary policy implementation and banking supervision.

Born in 1973, she is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and joined the Banque de France in 1997.
