La Banque de France, partenaire de l'opération pièces jaunes

Since 1989, the Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France Foundation has financed some 13,400 projects aimed at keeping families together, improving the hospital environment and patient well-being, organising activities for patients and supporting teenagers in difficulty.

The Banque de France has a longstanding partnership with the Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France Foundation, and has sponsored its Opération Pièces Jaunes fundraising campaign since it was first launched. Each year, it mobilises staff at its headquarters, cash management centres and network branches to count and sort the coins donated through the campaign.

Assisting young people in order to improve social inclusion

Since 2010, as part of the Banque de France’s partnerships with the Créteil and Poitiers local education authorities, nearly 1,200 young people from deprived areas have benefited from tutoring, job interview coaching, educational workshops and mentoring programmes.

Supporting Emmaüs in helping people into work

The Banque de France organises recycling campaigns for items such as mobile phones and spectacles, in association with Les Ateliers du Bocage (part of the Emmaüs Group), a charity that helps people into work and promotes sustainable development by giving everyday objects a new lease of life.
