La Banque de France, la Banca d'Italia, Sciences Po et l'EIEF, en coopération avec le CEPR, organisent leur 4ème conférence de recherche conjointe sur les tendances en matière de financement, d'organisation et de dynamique des entreprises, qui se tiendra à Rome les 9 et 10 décembre 2021.
The conference aims to create a forum for discussion on issues related to the recent patterns of firms’ activity, the organization of production and financing decision, as well as their determinants, consequences and implications for policymaking. This year’s issue of the conference particularly welcomes contributions highlighting and investigating new challenges facing firms in the post-Covid world, including the need to adapt to climate change risks, as well as assessing the cost and benefits of policies targeted at firms during the pandemic.
The conference will feature two keynote lectures by Antoinette Schoar (MIT) and Ralf Martin (Imperial College). Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Depending on sanitary constraints at the time of the meeting, the conference may be held partly or entirely online. For organizational purposes, we kindly ask submitters to mention whether they will be unwilling or unable to travel to Rome in case of an in-presence or mixed-mode event.
Paper submission: Interested authors should submit a detailed extended abstract or, preferably, a complete paper in PDF format accessing https://editorialexpress.com/conference/FirmOrgDyn by August 22, 2021. Decisions of acceptance by the program committee will be announced by the end of September.
Financial support: Accommodation and travel expenses (economy class) for academic authors of accepted papers will be covered. The CEPR reimbursement limits will apply.
