Oil and the macroeconomy

This workshop will be held on November 14th 2012, in the conference center of the Banque de France, 31 rue Croix des Petits Champs, Paris.

The workshop will bring together academic scholars and economists from central banks and international institutions. The program will cover the role of financial and macroeconomic factors in oil price dynamics, forecasting methods of its future evolution, and the role of oil exports in the macroeconomy of oil-producing countries.

The workshop will end with a keynote lecture by Prof. James Hamilton.
