Paris, 17-18 December 2012
The Banque de France and Sciences Po, in association with the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), will jointly organize a conference on the “Economics of sovereign debt and default”, to be held in Paris on December 17-18, 2012. The aim of the conference is to gather high quality recent research that explores the causes and consequences of sovereign default from three different, complementary perspectives: theoretical and empirical macroeconomics, macrofinance modeling, as well as economic history.
Accommodation and travel expenses (economy class) for academic authors of accepted papers will be covered. Interested authors should submit an extended, detailed abstract or, preferably, a complete paper in PDF format by September 2 to sovereigndef@banque-france.fr.
Authors of accepted papers will be notified by September 24, 2012. The final versions of the papers selected for the conference are due by November 30, 2012.Organising committee:
