Legal Basis

The Observatory for Payment Cards Security was created by virtue of the Everyday Security Act of 15 November 2001. Legal basis for its missions, scope and operating procedures are:

   – The "Everyday Security Act" 2001-1062 of 15 November 2001 and Article L.141-4 of the French Monetary and Financial Code;

   – The Decree of 2 May 2002
